Kirpal Singh attended Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa Higher Secondary School, Delhi. Holds PhD degree in Chemistry (Delhi Univ.). Professor of Chemistry since 1981 (retired in 2007 as Professor Emeritus). Served in various Universities and Institutions in different parts of the World such as: Delhi Univ. (India), Amsterdam Univ. (Holland), Catholic Univ. of Louvain (Belgium), Imperial College London, Univ. of Berne (Switzerland), Univ. of Dar-Es-Salaam (Tanzania), Ahmadu Bello Univ. (Nigeria), Univ. of Papua New Guinea, Univ. Putra Malaysia (Malaysia), Univ. of Queensland (Australia), and Victoria University (New Zealand). Ex- Member, Board of Directors, Pacific Basin Consortium for Environment and Health, East-West Centre, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Currently living in Wellington, New Zealand.
